      This add-on for Advanced Application Forms creates a simple yes/no poll to be voted on by members and promotes the applicant based on the results of the poll.

      FEATURES
      • Polls can be turned on or off for each application postion.
      • Set the duration of each poll.
      • Define a different poll question for each poll.
      • Specify what usergroup the applicant should be promoted to.
      • Results are obtain by a vBulletin scheduled task.
      • A PM is automatically sent to inform the applicant of the decision.
      • In the event of a tie vote, the application administrator is informed to take manual action.
      • When used with Instant Promote (vB 4.x only), Poll & Promote can automatically reverse the actions taken by Instant Promote.


      * This add-on will work with Advanced Application Forms for vB 4.x v1.1.2 or higher.
      ** This add-on WILL NOT work with earlier versions of Advanced Application Forms.
      *** The settings for this add-on can only be done via AdminCP. They can not be changed in the forum application edit pages.

    I installed tonight and when I try to update the position and set the "Make Votes Public" to yes I get this database error.

    Yep, I just updated to P&P 1.0.2 and I get the same DB error.
    Seems the 1.0.2 xml doesn't add the "pollpublic" column to the DB.

    I'm sure Snog will have it fixed fairly quickly once he spots your post.

    Meantime, if you upgraded on your live site and are expecting applications, to get rid of the DB error you could roll back to 1.0.1 simply by re-importing (with overwrite) the 1.0.1 (your_VB_Version)_pollpromote.xml
    There doesn't seem to be any change to "advapppoll.php" so no need to upload the old one.

    Yes, somehow I added the removal of the pollpublic column, but not the addition.

    Update will be out shortly.

    I have not had a chance to test the public polls but today the application was used and I am able to see who voted.

    empty page in all pages in my forums

    hello,

    after upload the contents of the 'upload' , and importing "vBulletin_X_product-pollpromote.xml"

    empty page appeared in all site ...

    by disable the hacks from config file , i could inter to my forums and uninstall "vBulletin_X_product-pollpromote.xml" put the error appear again when hacks enable ..

    i use vb4.1.5

    please help.. sorry for my bad english

    I have no record of you ever purchasing it and I know where you got it.

    Hi

    members have much choice in the vote, and I determine the maximum choice they can choose before voting.
    for example I ask them to vote on 11 movies among 25 movies. I want memebres can not vote on more than 11 movies. if possible I will buy it.
