What addon is the conflict with?

It's [TH] User Improvements, which is unmaintained now. On one local XF 2.1 I can reproduce the issue by installing that (problem goes away when I uninstalled it).

So on my live backup I continued uninstalling add-ons beyond that one and discovered that one my add-ons appears to be the culprit. Basically I'm pulling out an image of the thread post to use it as the OG image if there is one. I uninstall that add-on and then I'm able to install the user improvements add-on without it screwing up the permission check. Weird though because I had all installed and it was working locally. Maybe the order in which things happen or something. So I think this must be the problem.. I can get rid of my add-on.

Edit: Getting rid of that from my add-on (I wrote it two years ago) fixes the issue. So apparently it was me that caused the issue. Sorry for the trouble.

Why does the post date appear in the user postbit as it already shows in post? I hope this can be fixed too it's horrible.
