I think I might wait on this upgrade until everything has been fixed that might need fixing.

How does this affect the add ons then?

It's already known fact that all add-ons will have to be rewritten for 2.0.

That alone will make the change over something to really consider doing.

So far I have not noticed any real big aspect that would make me want to change over ASAP.
