Well I updated my one forum to XF 1.5 and out of all the new features I like the new Contact Users options, this is something that I have wanted for some time.

The email has always been available. It's the other two that I'm interested in.
 
Yes it was the other two that I needed as at times you would like to send a notification or PC to a usergroup, I tried the notification option and it worked great.
